Don't really see what the point would be. Lose a top 6 forward to gain another 2nd pairing guy. Everyone seems to think we have this forward depth when we really are a one line and PP dependent team. Schenn is a younger cheaper effective forward.

Ceci has the potential to be a top pair guy some day. The tools are there, he's just got to figure out has to best use them.

I don't know a lot about Ceci, but if you dealt Schenn for a 21 year old defenseman, it's because you think he has a high upside. One of the reasons for the Flyers lack of consistent scoring from lines other then the Giroux line is due to the mix of players, rather then the lack of depth.

To the Flyers I mean, a la Giroux in '08.

picked 15th overall, playing almost 20 minutes a night as a 21 year old, plays the PP and the PK, good size, good wheels.

It'd probably have to be a bigger deal, built on B. Schenn for Ceci. I doubt they'd do it, I agree with OB that Cowan is the guy they'd shop.

Oh yeah, Greening isn't good, but hes younger and cheaper...Gryba is another limited 5-6 guy, but he's not expensive

I honestly think that the team, as young overall as it is, gets sloppy in games where they aren't playing a rival.
