Yakupov has been moved up to the 2nd line to play with him
Its giving them a 2nd line that can provide some offense, and its clearly helping them be much more competitive

CW's in Lockport. It doesn't have a sign outside and is on the far side of town. But it has a nice atmosphere, good wings and a few HD TVs.

But I'd assume it starts with some of those pieces

When you think about it this is more do-able than you think as we don't know where that #1 pick would be. It could be like our trade with the Islanders in that they would essentially be betting on themselves not to be terrible so that it isn't a top pick. That's also why I don't know if we would do that. Lets say the pick as #3. Is Hanifan worth all of that? Then again, we'd be getting another ping pong ball in the big lottery.

That trade would be insane.
The lottery introduces too much uncertainty into the equation to know where the pick would wind up, and Myers + an established young forward + more is waayy too much for that uncertainty.

Once their pick is assured to be top2, the value goes way up and they get a better return for it

I think they do specials on beer, but not positive. They do have a decent craft beer selection as well.

I can't really imagine there's a number StL wouldn't match. He's a guy they are gonna build around.
There's always gonna be guys to target. But remember, that player also has to wanna leave and sign here as well. Buffalo is still probably a tough sell to a lot of NHLers. Once we start to show improvement I think we'll be looked at more highly
