Yeah, i went with my brother-in-law (who donned a Lemieux jersey hoodie). I was as irate as you would have been after the hit. In fact, I was screaming for him to be sent to the AHL after his initial minor penalty. There were, of course, the WIP majority who said "It wasn't a board!" because it was a Flyer. But there were enough of us who were sensible hockey fans to realize what a scumbag move it was.

Physical play is good.

Stupid, undisciplined physical play that results in 7 minutes of penalties in less than 1 period, not so much.

I don't care how hard Rinaldo works and how hard he says he wants to improve, he's an idiot. He's not a NHL caliber player, he's unable to control himself and quite frankly his idiotic comments after the game, joking or not, will do little to reduce the giant bullseye he's painted on his own back.

He's an embarrassment.

yeah. i dont know. i usually try to be pretty subdued if youre cheering for the visiting team. regardless of the sport. no one likes the guy who obnoxiously cheers after a goal or a run, especially when its to the dismay of everyone else there. but that was different to me.

and yeah im sure not everyone in the stadium is at your cro magnon level. hell probably not even the majority. but just like with anything else, theres always that select and special few.

yeah. i dont know. i usually try to be pretty subdued if youre cheering for the visiting team. regardless of the sport. no one likes the guy who obnoxiously cheers after a goal or a run, especially when its to the dismay of everyone else there. but that was different to me.
