Which means Berube will not play him unless he's forced to.

Exactly. Now would be the time with both Coburn and Grossmann out. They'd need to swallow the pill of sitting Carlo though...

Pretty much the best. Plus, you can make the "one way" line from Marlo apply to almost any situation.

i mean i guess he made some okay points about bennett finding his legs later in the game, and martin and ehrhoff did well stepping up.

but did i read correctly that he implied that giroux somehow orchestrated the rinaldo hit at a steakhouse the night prior? like some sort of mob boss?

- stayinthefnnet

Well, the word on the street is that Rinaldo woke up with a horse's head in his bed the morning before he elbowed the dude in Buffalo. Maybe Giroux made reference to it at the dining establishment.

but he compares the flyers to the patriots.....the one thing we don't have here is under-inflated balls

the writer should apply his talents to thoroughly examining why the powerplay cannot score once given the amount of opportunity.

Stringer Bell's death scene... man, one of the best moments in recent TV history, IMO.

would you really say that if the pens scored three times on the ensuing 5 minute major powerplay?
- KGBflyers10

the hockey gods didn't allow the pens to score any goals so they made up for the bad call

The same way Downie was cleared to play last year, even though he was a complete anchor on that line because he never fully recovered from his injuries?

I'm fully healthy, and will replace what Matt Read's doing for 1/10th of the salary. Or maybe that Akeson guy who needs to play a top-9 role could step in and be an adequate replacement for him (at least on the offensive side). Read's foot speed isn't there, and his defensive game is suffering. Not sure what he can offer that Akeson can't in his current state.

Just because you're "cleared" does not mean you're healthy and/or effective.

- jmatchett383

Cleared to play isn't the only variable in the equation. There's a huge difference between Read and Downie in my opinion.

The HD rework is pretty amazing, I'm actually going through it right now. The first few episodes are cropped to poop, but the rest is great. Season 4 is really some of the best writing and acting you're going to see, ever.

They killed a 5 minute against Crosby and Malkin. They CAN do it.

Finally saw the rinaldo hit (been busy trying to get grateful dead tickets and buy a car). He was late and left his feet, but the only numbers he hit letang in were the ones on his shoulder.

With luck, we could climb to 26th, maybe even 25th, by season's end.

I'm not opposed to playing Manning over CC, but you have to think CC was not at 100% yesterday after that Islander tried to split him in two. Credit to him for even getting on the ice.

Oh for sure. British TV is in its Golden Age as far as I am concerned. Check out a show called Black Mirror. Its like a modern day Outer Limits.

I give him all the credit he deserves for playing.

He still wasn't good before the hit.

As I said earlier, the part I loved reading was how scoring on a 4 on 3 PP is similar to making a free throw in BB.. Apparently teams click along at 75% in that situation. Idiot.
