Good news everybody, we won against the pens yesterday and it was a very entertaining game.

he didnt try to maim him but im sure he wanted to put a hit on him and get him a tad cautious when touching that puck. had he deliberately wanted to injure him, then he could have nailed him square in the numbers. in the video he does veer towards the shoulder as he said. again ill take that penalty if it means he took one of theyre better players of the ice.

I don't absolve the Flyers at all. They created and encouraged this moron. I'd love to see them realize their mistake and rid themselves of this meathead.

At the same time, he's been told he needs to be smarter and pick his spots, repeatedly. So while the Flyers share some blame, the onus is on him.

I just wanted to make sure that my absolute bias was absolutely clear. I don't like Rinaldo, don't like players like him and I'd like to see the Flyers get rid of him as soon as his suspension ends.

if they didnt trip over themselves to extend him last summer id be more pissed at him. I'm willing to speculate, crazy as this sounds that they encourage his shenanigans. look i really believe if anybody else laid that hit they get a double minor tops but he isnt a guy that should be on the team night in and night out. and his "speech" after the game was embarrassing. ill take getting letang out of the game but gloating over it is dumb. that stupidity is usually in the nfl not this league.

I disagree. He hit Letang late, from behind and left his feet. Those are pretty much the checklist for a suspension.

It is hard to watch him some nights....I used to think there might be a player in there...develop into a serviceable 3rd - 4th line guy who can skate, hit and be a physical presence ....but at this point the bad out weighs the good.
