I've been himming and hawing about lack of passion and leadership for quite some time now, but if our captain has enough pull to get guys like Raffl and Bellemare to drop the mitts (against some pretty tough dudes, no less), perhaps I've underestimated his command of the locker room....

It seems more like a prank to play on a rookie you don't like. "Hey Raffl, heard that Sill Clown is as gentle as a kitten. You should fight him"

Last night was our Stanley Cup.

My brain says he won't be back, but I think he wants to find the risks, and if they are negligible, i think he might just try it. I just wish we had a better team.. with this D corps, we aren't going anywhere, so why come back?

I don't feel sorry for too many NHL guys; they get compensated to deal with things.

But Phaneuf needs to get moved -- sometimes, a guy needs a mercy kill, and Phaneuf needs to be put out of his misery

He's on a 7 yr 49 mil contract.. How can you move him? Say he's a top 4 and not a top 2 guy, that's insane money.
