Like Jsaq said, Giamatti and Linney are both good in it. I'm enjoying it.
I'm not big on musicals, but 1776 gets watched every July 4th.
Caught this clip of Dean Norris on Conan, discussing his role as Franklin in SoL -

The John Adams series is easily one of my favorite period movie/series about early America. So well done and, from what I've read, pretty accurate.
Some of the stuff they showed in that series, such as a historically accurate "tar and feather" incident (people actually died from that sort of thing, even though it sound harmless on the surface) and that Washington DC was a swampy mess when the Adams' moved there were pretty interesting. |

And in my opinion Downie is a better player.... - landros 2
Downie better than Read? You are entitled to you're own opinion..... BUT.......C'mon man.......I never thought I would hear this one. I'm pretty upset with Read this season too, but lets see what happens next year before we think about selling low on Read. |

Kris letang is no angel and the more I watch the play the more I believe that he left himself vulnerable in hopes of drawing a penalty. I'm not saying it was right for rinaldo to do it but letang didn't have to get hit like that. If the hit is considered late, he certainly had time to avoid it. I think he chose not to. I think that type of strategy is not above kris letangs standards.
Children are taught to turn/spin away from hits to avoid injury. Letang pivots 45 degrees counter clockwise and he isn't hit. At least he was tight to the boards. Another factor that tells me he knew he was gonna get hit and was gm a see if he could put his squad on the pp. Again not trying to absolve rinaldo of his role in this. Just pointing out that kris letang imo is NOT a helpless victim - dmorin
Its karma, Pens have been cheap shotting and injuring players for a few years now. They gave a few of our players concussions on dirty hits and Crosby fractured Girouxs wrist. I dont feel sorry for them. |

Man...a day off from Paul Stewart contributing a blog. Now I REALLY can't wait for his rant since he's had a full day to rip Rinaldo apart. |

I found Philly to be great for bars etc. One place was Monk's cafe I think.. most beer on tap I have ever seen. I'm biased though. I love Philly and wish I could visit twice a year. I'll be there when they do win the cup for the parade down Broad street. |
