Speculation. The blood clots in his lungs are god, but they're still in his leg (last I heard). That said, he's probably on pretty severe blood thinners and nowhere near game shape. - jmatchett383
I read the reports that he still has clots in the leg veins so I really can't imagine that a doctor would allow him to play on anticoagulant meds.
It seems like it is an inherited genetic condition for Kimmo as several of his family members have a clotting disorder as well. My understanding of this kind of condition is they have to take blood thinners for the rest of their life. |

I remember reading in a Musing he's taking Xarelto and probably will be taking it for life. |

I think they move Coburn and Grossman - vejim
Don't be surprised if the biggest move is Schultz for a 5th rounder. |

I'm not a fan of Xarelto. No way to reverse it if there is a bleeding catastrophe. |

It's good to aim high.
Who knows, it could happen.
Maybe someone will give up a first for Matt Read, and trade for VLC too. |

That's the one where you don't have to do labs like INR and stuff right?
I always found that ridiculous. The entire reason we check PTs and PTTs and INRs on warfarin therapy is so that we know everything is working and working safely.
They advertise (again, if this is the drug I remember on the commercials) not having to do any testing like it's a GOOD THING. Because you know...people are lazy and they're trying to play to that.

Ek is reporting interest in Grossmann and Del Zotto. I doubt we see any movement until the trade deadline though. |

Whoever loses the bet has to change their avatar.
I've been here for like what 3 years now or some poop and both of you guys have ALWAYS had the same avatar.
If Rinaldo plays in his first game back, Tomahawk changes his pic
If he sits, then MJL changes it. |

I would hope they bring Del Zotto back for next season, either by retaining him or signing him again in the off season.

Yes
The monitoring can be a real pain for people.
Also it costs money to run the INR test.
Xeralto is way more expensive compared to warfarin so I guess it evens out.

He'll have to get off blood thinners to play, correct? How can he do that if he still has blood clots in his leg? |

His contract length would likely limit the return coming back.
Look at what Hartnell's deal did for his trade value.
That being said what would you think they could get for Streit this TDL or summer? |
