Ok buddy. Whatever you need to justify it is fine. I wouldn't want remember the last 40+ years of Flyer hockey either. Real hard hitting factual stuff there - stowerkraut
Hey do you think if the flyers whine and say they are moving and bankrupt the league will just hand us mcdavid or eickel? Just spit balling here |

HOSSA - jmatchett383
Hossa signing with the Wings seems like a lifetime ago. He scored 40 goals and made it to the second of three straight Cup Finals appearances. Not bad at all. It's not like a Johnny Damon kind of thing. |

You guys are the ones who want to remember it and keep bringing it up every time we play. We're the ones trying to move away from it. |

We should be so lucky.
Maybe we can get Jan Hrdina and Milan Kraft if we REALLY whine. |

I'm not bringing this up to try to detract from the article or support anyone's argument, but the same author of this article has a link to another article he wrote called:

I don't remember a lot of the last 40 years because I'm less than 40 years old. Anyways, there's a lot more facts there than in your non-refutal of a post.
But keep blaming the Flyers for the Pens roster decisions and violent immaturity, or whatever floats your boat. |

Better Pittsburgh than Anaheim.
Seriously, if the NHL wanted to rig a draft Crosby would be the Captain of the NY Rangers. |

I'm not going to say they rigged the draft.
But getting Crosby basically kept one of the original 12 franchises from potentially moving to Kansas City.
Call it a coincidence or whatever, I don't care. |

Penguins players have never attempted to intentionally injure Flyers players.
Wait, what's that over there? Is that footage of James Neal in the 2012 ECQF? |

No, that's Robert Bortuzzo throwing a flying elbow on Jaromir Jagr and being "okay with the hit." |

True. But at least the brass is able to identify those types and move them. Not continue to sign/draft/develop the same type. |

Aside from Rinaldo, please indicate which of "those types" the Flyers have drafted in the last 10 years. I can think of 3 total.
Or are you just making a baseless statement? |
