Good thing the Pens management doesn't sign that kind of guy anymore |

True. But at least the brass is able to identify those types and move them. Not continue to sign/draft/develop the same type. - stowerkraut
You guys just signed Downie this offseason. You have also given Farnham his first taste of (undeserved) NHL hockey.
The Flyers have one guy on their team, who most nearly every single fan wants gone. |

CARCILLO!
Because you guys almost, sorta, kinda, didn't really have him on your team. - jmatchett383
I guess the Pens decided that they didn't need Carcillo in order to be involved in games that degenerate into violent roller derbies with two divisional rivals. They can already do that. |

Aside from Rinaldo, please indicate which of "those types" the Flyers have drafted in the last 10 years. I can think of 3 total.
Or are you just making a baseless statement? - jmatchett383
Fedoruk, Bollerice, Rinaldo.
I'm sure those were your 3.

In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo.
For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo! |

Even more staggering.
Pens lead the NHL with 9 (!) misconduct penalties and we are only just half way through the season.. Flyers have 2.

Fedoruk has been drafted in the last 10 years?
Boulerice (Pittsburgh native) was drafted in the last 10 years?
I thought they were closer to 20 years ago. |

Hahah..
Fedoruk and Bowlofrice played a combined 53 games in a Flyers uniform over the past 10 years. 48 in one season for Fedoruk and 5 in a separate for Bowlofrice |

In other recent news, Ruslan Fedotenko is trying out with the Iowa Wild. I also saw Michael Leighton play in a game for the Rockford IceHogs. Teuvo Teravainen is sick. |

The afore-mentioned Todd Bertuzzi was injured, I think. |

The Flyers never drafted Jesse Boulerice. He was a Hurricane for a long time before becoming a Flyer.
Edit:
My Bad, he was drafted by philly.... in 1996.
He played 3 games for the Flyers and had a single fight before joining Carolina. |

He was originally drafted by the Flyers. But that was in 1997, which is hardly the last 10 years. |

I brought all the trolls out... what have I done?!?
Can at least one Flyer fan agree that your hockey teams objective, for 40+ years, was to play "goon" hockey? That would be a break through and a step in the right direction. Then we can move on to how, like it or not, a part of your fan base still gets off on that?
Only point I was trying to make.
Sorry Pens fans... wanted to talk about the Hawks game too.

As soon as the pens fans admit they tanked on purpose and then was gifter crosby because the staduim was completely empty and cried bankrupt and wanted to move the team. fun isnt this |

Read the USA Today article on Farnham before labeling him. He's 5'6". |

Only thing this tells m is the league favors eastern PA more than western. haha
Seriously though that hit was bad. Most teams in the NHL have idiot players that I think hockey can do without and will actually improve the game tremendously. Also, this game is super fast so unintentional dirty hits are bound to happen. |

The primary objective was to a win cup. I will meet you halfway by saying they've always overvalued those type of players. Most Flyers fans would like to see them focus more on finding skilled guys in the bottom 6 |

Edit: Unless he could prove that a member of Canucks management instructed Bertuzzi to do it. - jmatchett383
They (the canucks) settled out of court as did the NHL for a substantial amount of money. His brother was screwing uo his case tweeting that they weren't paying enough or quick enough. They payed soon after. |

Rinaldo is pretty universally disliked by flyer fans. We're tickled pink that the league will force Berube to sit him. |
