Coaching change? Why? - stackthepads
I was really rooting for him in the beginning, even compared him to Badger once. Now he looks lost and is making rookie mistakes every night. The timeout last night took away any confidence I had in him. |

you know what's funny? That the very same people commenting on this board could write that Brock Nelson dove when Steve Downie broke his stick in half crosschecking him in the back, could be outraged by a hit from behind.
Yes this is a league wide problem, but after reading "we need more of these players who will run around and hurt people" from more than one penguins fan it feels a little bit like karma. - Isles_since_6
I'm one the fans you are talking about, but it's only a reaction to the fact that the league won't change the way it operates and enforces discipline. RWs article is spot on, but it's been this way for years and nothing ever changes. Because theNHL won't enforce discipline, The only way to effectively punish the Flyers for employing morons like Rinaldo is to employ your own morons. What SHOULD a have occurred last night in short order was for a Penguin to find Claude Giroux and take a butt end to his jaw.
That's not the kind of hockey I like or want to see, but it's a pragmatic view of the way the league is.
The Flyers are an bumhole organization that promotes bumhole hockey. The league won't make them change an tacitly endorses it, so the only response is to up the ante. "They put one of yours in the hospital, you put one of theirs in the mourge" |

The Penguins' missing players tonight have accounted for 44% of the Penguins' goals this season. |

There are times where he looks so confused on the bench. It is not very encouraging to see. |

It's true. Their lack of respect for the bars is alarming. Suspension worthy really.

Finally a little puck luck. A good bounce for a change.....and oh yeah, crashing the net never hurts. |

Pouliot looks better tonight. He had a nice play on Saad when he ignored the body and just played the puck. |

I realize the nhl hasn't handled suspensions properly.. Almost never, but I ripped a few flyers fans for defending Rinaldo as well. Same crap, same type of player. I hate watching skill guys get hit by guys that are too stupid to realize they're not going to win anything that way and are hurting their own teams. Letang is a great player and a fringe nhl player took him out with a stupid cheap hit. These kinds of players only hurt the game. |

Still looks like a dear in the headlights at times. Wish he was a little better skater, but his vision and play making skills are first rate. |
