Meh... No Malkin, Letang, Hornqvist, Despres. They win that game....maybe easily if two of the 4 played. Really was a 50/50 game missing so many guys. I can't judge the team missing players like that. Same with the Philly game. - madmike71
Can't argue with the effort at all. Outplayed Chicago tonight, absent the face-offs. God knows all Perron had to do was hit the empty net and the game is a win in regulation. That said, he has been a solid acquisition. |

That's actually pretty funny, considering he has been known to have a little bit of an attitude problem (or so the rumors were). Maybe it's the fact that he's motivated to succeed and this is probably the best shot he'll get being centered by one of the best players in the league. - TommyHawk
If you were forced to play in Edmonton for a few years, I'd think you would develop an attitude problem too.

I'm one the fans you are talking about, but it's only a reaction to the fact that the league won't change the way it operates and enforces discipline. RWs article is spot on, but it's been this way for years and nothing ever changes. Because theNHL won't enforce discipline, The only way to effectively punish the Flyers for employing morons like Rinaldo is to employ your own morons. What SHOULD a have occurred last night in short order was for a Penguin to find Claude Giroux and take a butt end to his jaw.
That's not the kind of hockey I like or want to see, but it's a pragmatic view of the way the league is.
The Flyers are an bumhole organization that promotes bumhole hockey. The league won't make them change an tacitly endorses it, so the only response is to up the ante. "They put one of yours in the hospital, you put one of theirs in the mourge" - Emperor Filonius
Emperor I follow what you say but if that happened then some nut from the Flyers would suddenly forget about what Letang copped & find Crosby & smash him into the boards as retribution - that's how these imbeciles think. They can do what they want but if their player is hurt in turn then they forget & go crazy & the only thing you will hear is how bad Claude Giroux was hurt!
They need the retribution for their sorry ass season. |

right...so rather than review the video, let's wonder what kind of hypothetical situations we can create, none of them involving any pens going after boychuk at all because he went to their bench and apologized for it, but I'm sure he did it on purpose.
here, I'll even make it easier for you:
follow the puck. - Isles_since_6
Wow those commentators are sure biased - must be Pens commentators.
Funny there must have been a problem with my iPad - I couldn't see the puck anywhere & it just looked like Boychuck ran straight into Geno, funny that.
But he said sorry so it must have all been ok. |
