Not sure, I assume we will be fine for the playoffs, which is a circumstance thankfully you wont be concerned with.
Also I had no issue with Rinaldo's hit, it was a bit late but that happens its a fast game; I wish he played for us; the dirtier the better. - nbartley9
I guess as a pens fan your hoping the Flyers don't sneak in to the 7th or 8th spot. Pens sitting one or two in the conference may have a shorted lived playoff run. Rinaldo's hit was dirty. |

If Babcock is available after the season you try to get him. Johnston is clueless. - Deadstar
He literally looks scared behind the bench, i mean actually downright scared. Its a very odd thing. |

Taking the NHL's leading scorer off the ice for 17 minutes after a clean hip check is the best thing Scuderi has done since coming back to Pittsburgh. - jmatchett383
I would have been thrilled as a Pens fan. I mean, it was kinda cool how Jake got the crowd going after the fight but that does not offset the idiocy of the fight and the loss of the top NHL scorer for 17 minutes. |

Being as I actually enjoy your opinion, I was at the game and only saw 1 replay, and it was from the side and there was a Penguin in the way. It looked like Letang was more or less up against the glass and Rinaldo hit him in the back shoulder. I could be wrong, like I said, the angle they showed at the game was bad. Was that about it?
I didn't think it was a malicious hit, but it was a stupid hit. I think he wanted to hit him hard but not necessarily injure him. Regardless, Rinaldo needs to go. |

Let me get this straight, are all the laughing faces a jab at us because you will be getting a much better draft pick than we will this year??
Because if that's it, you got us on that one. |

Truthfully I didn't think it was that bad at all, it was late that's for sure; but that's his job. Make an impact, I have no issue with it what so ever. |

It was odd to see Jake like that because I never have before. Scuderi just stuffed him and he flipped (literally and figuratively). Maybe it was just the emotions of the rivalry, I don't know. Either way, I didn't like it as a Flyers fan or as a hockey fan. - NickTheKid87

On the contrary I hope and pray for a Pens/Flyers playoff match up, it would be a dream come true. |

It's a 2-way street. On the one hand, it was nice to see Voracek fight himself as opposed to someone else fighting his battles. However, in a much more logical sense, the fight was unnecessary and was not a good trade off for the Flyers. Had he fought either Geno or Sid, it STILL would have been a bad trade because he was out for 17 minutes as opposed to the 5 the other guy would have gotten. |

I could care less if Scuds got his ass whooped. It was the best thing he did for us all season. He took the leading scorer off the ice with him. Sad part was look at the game prior to the Letang hit. Yea Philly scored but the shots were 17-3 and we were a lot faster then Philly. Then the shenanigans started. At some point the Pens have to just walk away and put the puck in the net on the power play. Plain and simple. If I'm Philly I do that poop every single game until the Pens prove they can beat them |

Corey Perry is a great hockey player. He's also dirty as a day is long. Same can be said of Niklas Kronwall. You can't have it both ways. Discipline needs to be meted out equally regardless of the player's name or sweater, or how powerful their owner is on the Board of Governors or how prominently the league markets said player. - John Jaeckel
As you said though, Perry and Kronwall are great players. No one is saying that about Rinaldo and Carcillo. They are taking out great players. |

Some people will not like to hear that, but it is for sure hands down.
I would go as far to say best rivalry in sports today. |

Some have commented on what a joke the NHL's stance on player safety is. You want to know what is really a joke?
Who will be weighing in on how to discipline Rinaldo - none other than Chris Pronger, who is on the Flyer's fricking payroll!
It is bad enough the NHL hired him to their "player safety" department in the first place when he was one of the dirtiest cheapshot artists in the league, but they did so while he is still being paid by one of the teams in the league.
And you wonder why so many people still consider the NHL to be a minor league sport. |

The fact that the Penguins let him leave the ice under his own power is baffling to me. If I'm Farnham (sorry, forget his exact name if I got it wrong), I know my job, and I'm coming off the bench and I'm not letting anyone stop me from beating him into the ice.
Again, not a deterrent, but at least a message that you don't touch our stars. |

I'd prefer blogs were other teams fans are saying we have a dirty piece of poop player who hit someone with a cheap hit. Boys need spadafora to come teach some boxing classes |
