Would the Kings consider or have a need for jagr? If so would they move Richards and a their first for him for a package of jagr and something minor- decent ? - blizzzard
This is a joke right?
A team would be stupid to give up a first let alone a first and a roster player |

"he Rumor Chart is more or less my predictions as to where these players are likely to be moved based on all the conversations and rumors I hear through my research. Your $20 a year not only helps to keep the site going, it also gives you full access to the site and enables us to turn of most advertising and auto-play videos. Thanks for your amazing support!" |

Why? If you make the finals our second round pick would only be 8 picks after your first. Also how valuable is cap space? Jagr has on year Richards is a 35 pt player locked up to big money. He is also a big skilled winger I don't see how he wouldn't be a fit. |

Richards has negative value. The team would be fortunate to find a taker for him. This actually is one of the better proposals I have seen on this site. |

Kings aren't looking for offensive help. Both Lombardi and Sutter have said that the problem is defense. If they have given up on Richards, the Kings would possibly trade for Jagr, but only to get Richards' contract off the books going forward, and only if absolutely no one would trade them a top four defenseman (including rentals) for Richards+. |

I don't agree with this. Richards is still a NHL caliber player. He's just performing nowhere near the level he needs to to justify his cap hit. If his cap hit was $3.25M instead of $5.75M, we wouldn't be talking about this.
I agree that Richards has negative value for teams with salary cap issues. However, for non-playoff teams that are looking for veteran leadership and don't have to worry about cap space over the next few years (I'm looking at you Buffalo), Richards would be a welcome addition.

Throw in a serviceable backup goaltender and yea, I'd probably go for that. Not sure that Buffalo fans would agree. |

I disagree with this. No team wants to pay out that kind of money for what they will get for how long they will get it. Bottom feeder or not teams have internal budgets. BUF also wants to be competitive in 3-4 years max, Richards is signed for much longer then that. I think it is wishful thinking on your part. And as for Jagr's value, how much has he brought back in the past? I think it would be a good trade for both sides. I actually question it more from the Devil's side. |

I guess if JJ was in LA they would have to move Williams to the LW? I would have a hard time playing Jagr over Williams. |
