Some will be happy with a return if he's moved and some won't, I guess we have to roll with it and hope it works out.

I think a trade for an established player is what seems about right for Meyers (may be thats what you mean by your "something else" part)
We have so many picks, people are talking about us packaging them for players we can ice next season. So i feel like TM is in "seriously improve mode" for next season instead of just pretending we're trying as hard as we can. Remember, we're going to have a lot of UFA's to replace. Some of those spots will be filled by Rochester players, but not all of them.

I want the team to be better next year for sure, but they can't get that much better as there are little FA available and trades for quality players, but TM seems to want younger roster players, so I agree with that concept, but we have to get some people with higher salaries at some point to reach the cap floor.

IMO Myers for Hall makes the most sense, with the Sabres maybe having to add a player or pick.

I've said it before Michael, if they move Myers and the Yotes move Yandle and the Kings want either one, Toffoli is where it should start.

Totally. We have our veterans peppered in to the roster making way too much money because we need them. I think the rest of the team should e filled out with players in the 22-26,27 year old range and a few stragglers of different younger or older ages. Also,mthey should just offer Girgensons an extension now. Might as well take up some cap space on a guy we dont want to negotiate with later...

They gotta scrap this thing. Just do what the NBA does at the end of the year and name an All-NHL team 1/2 an All-Rookie team and an All defensive team.

I love how other people that post on this site that are fans of other teams that think Myers is not worth anything and how" he would be a 3 or 4 Dman on our team ". Yea that's why so many teams want him to be a 3-4 D man Myers should get us a good return if he's moved.

That does seem like a legit trade though....give or take a tertiary player or a pick or something going in either direction.
Sabres are deep at D, but largely unproven. Same said for Edmonton on Offense.
