I agree besides Ennis , Moulson and Reinhart, we don't have a potential 30 goal guy coming up.

ennis, reinhart and player x in the draft

those are the only legit top 2 line players on a team competing for a cup in a few years

girgens may or may not be a second line player but if not, he will be the perfect plug and play anchor on the third line that can move up for long stretches

armia and gringo are wild cards and even if they pan out to be top 6 players, they will still be missing a piece (winger for the top line)

I wouldn't count on any of the other kids up front til 2016-17, at the earliest

This type of game is tough for a guy that plays like Girgensons does. Doesn't really fit in with his skill set. He makes his name by playing a physical game. Doesn't work in a game that nobody hits in and barely backchecks.

He did mention trading quantity for quality. Yet to be seen. I'm sure it will happen. We have a poop ton of decent players.
