I guarantee Rinaldo dresses next game. Not Farnham. Unless Pens are decimated with injury and they are forced to.

Funny, that's the same reason Rinaldo dressed for the Flyers in that game.

The hit was borderline low close to the knee, and it is a dangerous hit. I don't like that Voracek took himself out of the game for 15 minutes, but like that he stood up for himself and got pissed off. I also think the fight showed that Voracek is strong as an ox.
- MJL

Paul Martin made that exact hit last night against a Blackhawks player. No one flipped out, not even the guy that got dumped. He just got back up and into play. Same situation, Paul Martin isn't a dirty player either and he wouldn't hurt a fly in a fight, like Scuderi. Also it's pretty easy to be strong as an ox against an almost 40 year old who wasn't even trying to fight. He was still in play in front of the net when Voracek bear hugged his head and dropped his gloves. Scuderi wasn't trying to fight obviously and dropped his gloves only after he as getting tossed and having bombs dropped on him. Weak

If you have the time to Youtube every NHL player that's ever slashed or hacked another behind a play... then label them as dirty so be it.

Farnham's needs to "goon" it up in the AHL since he didn't make the NHL ASG and wouldn't be playing for a week. WB/S now requires his services.

Malkin's made some real questionable and outright dirty hits over the years. He's big and mean, and if he was on the Flyers everybody would be ragging he's a goon and a bully. And I'd take him on the team in a heartbeat.

I think we're all getting a little hung-up on the term 'goon'. I never heard of him Farnham before the other night, but he was called up specifically for the Flyers game and the odds of him getting into a fight were good.

Scuderi has been in the League long enough to know when a fight is coming, shame on him if he wasn't ready to protect himself. The hit may have been technically a good hit, but it was still on the thigh and close to the knee, rather then up higher on the hip area. It's a dangerous hit that can cause injury, which is why Voracek got pissed off. The only thing that was weak was Scuderi in the fight.

Here's a good read on Farnham from USA Today.

If we say you are right will you change the subject?

And what kind of Penguins logo is that?

You seriously would take that bet? I'll help you out, he is going to be suspended, and he won't be dressed for the next game.

I honestly think Voracek with after Scuderi partly because of the hit and partly to fire up the team. He even said after the game that hit was legal. He also said he had knee issues before and did not like the hit. Not sure why anyone on either said has an issue with it. Pens got a powerplay and Voracek was gone for 17 mins. The Flyers seemed to be galvanized by it.

Also, Farnham and Sill are the punks. Not sure they could have found two opponents with less fighting experience. But you judge how you need to.

Doesn't really matter if you say I'm right, I would feel the same way that if it was Geno pummeling Del Zotto etc. And it's the wilkes-barre logo with the NHL background teams gold triangle in the back

Pens - Flyers play again in like 25 games - Early April.

He's not getting 25 games. Maybe 10.

Welp...

Maybe the league needs to start punishing players who turn their backs, to make a play, next too the boards as well. IMO, If you turn your back to try and avoid a hit, then you deserve what you get.

In MJL's defense, that's not at all what you said. Maybe what you meant to say, but you just said, "next game." May want to clarify next time.

Let's just hope that by the time Rinaldo's suspension is over we'll have Laughton back so Rinaldo will be back in the pressbox.
