If they could just move Howard. He is more of a anchor then Vinny
- J35Bacher

Anchor?

He's more like an entire barge.

I think that title should be reserved for a player who realizes there is ice on the other side of his blue line.

Voracek is this season.

Why was foligno selected as one of the all star captains? Just seems weird. No argument with toews or Someone like getzlaf or doughty would seem more logical?

I would agree. And I think he has been on his way to that distinction since the lockout year.

Yes, true. But without Mason this team is picking McDavid hands down.

I wonder if Giroux and Voracek get hot again. They have both slowed down some....

Uh oh... NHLPA considering not taking the 5% inflator over high-escrow and the decline of the CAD:

Daniel Negreaneu co-owner, Phil Hellmuth GM!
- PLindbergh31

You'd have to put Hellmuth behind the bench. Or Mike Matesow.

Yeah, Matesow.

Rethinking it, Hellmuth would be better suited as a coach. Epic meltdowns.

Matesow just gets weird.

So what you are saying is that our star goalie (yes Flyers star goalie) has been so good that without him we are picking around #1?

Irony at its finest. Only in Philly will the goalie be to blame at all times lol

What would the cap have to rise to where 5 million would become league minimum?

Love Hellmuth. Not ashamed to admit I have a PH hat! I stop there though, I wouldn't wear the Poker Brat hockey jersey.

There were hints of that earlier, they refused it for this season over escrow concerns.

Yeah, we're only $5mm or so north of the cap, and as we've seen with the Hartnell trade, it's easy as pie to dump a big long term deal. Hell, they got rid of Vincent Lecavalier easily enough, right?
