Blew off the All Star stuff as the Phantoms were televised. Leier with a real nice snap shot that was big league level. Cousins looks real good out there although needs to cut down on the mistakes. And Brian Boucher should be commentating for the flyers he is excellent. |

I think it would be silly to trade read this season. He is dealing with something that he is battling through and it's really hampering him. Can't imagine him playing worse than this next year. Not a good idea to sell low |

Yeah. It's not like Read went from being a speedy, consistent secondary scorer and excellent defender to terrible for no reason. Once he's healed up he'll be right back at it again. |

Flyers will be recalling Ryan White to fill in for Rinaldo while the later is suspended. Terry Murray said as much to the media covering the Phantoms game tonight |

Boosh is the color guy. I don't know if he gets the majority of the games. He does some flyer intermission stuff too. |

Entertaining phantoms tilt. 4-3 win to stay in the hunt. Boy they take a lot of minors though. |

Agreed, hockey buzz is no place for rational thought. Now lets get back to utter panic, raving diatribes and ridiculous trade proposals immediately!!

Honestly, a high ankle sprain takes forever to heal right. Especially if he isnt allowing it to heal right. He wont do any more damage, but the ligament that stretches from the ankle to the knee only fully heals with rest.
He wont be truly right until next season.

That's why I'd rather just see him come out of the lineup and let it heal now. While it's unlikely he won't do any further damage, it's still an injured body part and there is always some risk of making it worse or tearing an already damaged ligament.

I would agree. Though it SHOULD have happened back when he got hurt. BUt even then, it would take a long while for him to be 100% even if they did pull him out. |

Yup. Even if they had to shut him down for the rest of the season, that's fine with me. I'd rather he'd be 100% healthy going into the off season.

Not like he's gonna be needed for a playoff push or first round matchup. |
