I wonder how many teams would be willing to employ him, let alone offer him a contract. We shall see after his deal is done.

He has to play on the edge to have any kind of effectiveness to his game, sadly that line is a very tough one to not cross. If the Flyers want to employ these kind of guys, they have to at least be able to play hockey.

It's really such a shame about Wellwood. Flyers could have used his smart, speedy play this year.
