I feel for Morin.
That fight looked like a player trying to go after the biggest guy on the ice to get recognized. Morin appears to have done nothing to initiate the conflict. We have heard Morin having to fight for this reason previously from opposition players during training camp. Morin has a choice but he is a monster in a game which makes him into a monster. It seems to be a vicious cycle (cue the Austin Powers 'Fat-Bastard' video here). |

I do like seeing Shea Weber shoot pucks as hard as he can. |

yes by all means lets go out and injure ourselves for a meaningless game... . i enjoyed it for the skill, not the defensive prowess. - PhillaBully
I'd rather watch a bunch of shootout attempts on a loop
I flipped the game on and I couldn't last one minute. I watched the holocaust instead |

Morin plays the game a certain way and has to accept the consequences. If he didn't play as physical of a game, he wouldn't have to fight. Granted, playing that way is what makes him effective, but he's more than welcome to turn down a fight any time. But it's the same thing that happened to Rob Ray when Fedoruk came up (He called him "Mr. Ray" and asked to fight him). Whenever a fighter wants to prove himself, the best way to do it is to take on the best around. Yes, it's a no-win situation for Morin, but at the same time, do it enough and people will stop wanting to do it. |

I don't think anyone, aside from Jeremy Roenick, wants an all-out war of an ASG. At the same time, it's basically a no-contact game of highly-skilled shinny. As for the skill, the goalies' "skills" cannot be on full display because they are facing leading scorers with wide-open shots, which no one's going to stop. Also, part of what makes Shea Weber an All-Star is his ability to physically dominate players, and that is taken away from him (as is his 108 MPH shot) during the game.
If you want to watch a bunch of offensively-skilled players figure skate with the puck out there, that's fine. I just think it's some off perversion of NHL hockey. |

Now keep in mind I don't mind a good booing, of anyone; but it lasted 3 hours. The ENTIRE show was booed; so much so that it had to be dubbed by the WWE. Honestly I've never seen anything like it, now that I mention it, it was kind of interesting and unique; mostly just annoying.
It was weird to see The Rock openly hate a crowd/town.

No much skill involved when the defense isn't defending, and the goaltenders aren't even trying to make a save most of the time. The final score tells you how much skill was involved. |

If it sucked, it sucked. Don't blame it on our city, we didn't plan the show. I did enjoy the picture of the exact moment the Rock realized even he couldn't sell that turd:

I just read an article. So they don't like the guy who won the rumble? He is supposed to be a bad guy who isn't a bad guy but the WWE wants him to be a bad guy, but the fans don't like him and never have and started demanding refunds.

Sounds like the WWE needs some new script writers. Perhaps a focus group?

He's no stranger to fights. 141 PIM in 44 games with 7 points this year. He seems to be taking a more offensive role on the team this year, as he had 149 PIM and only 6 points in 44 games last year. I heard next year, he may jump to 9 points and only 136 PIM at this point. - jmatchett383

Which is more embarrassing and awkward: the Breakaway Challenge or the NHL Awards Show? |
