Which is more embarrassing and awkward: the Breakaway Challenge or the NHL Awards? - Tomahawk
Even with the comedy, the breakaway challenge is so absolutely brutal that its embarrassing. And it goes on FOREVER.

Morin plays the game a certain way and has to accept the consequences. If he didn't play as physical of a game, he wouldn't have to fight. Granted, playing that way is what makes him effective, but he's more than welcome to turn down a fight any time. But it's the same thing that happened to Rob Ray when Fedoruk came up (He called him "Mr. Ray" and asked to fight him). Whenever a fighter wants to prove himself, the best way to do it is to take on the best around. Yes, it's a no-win situation for Morin, but at the same time, do it enough and people will stop wanting to do it. - jmatchett383
Yeah. I think that guy had his gloves off and grabbed Morin where I think he had no time to decide. |

Let's see if they strap GoPro cameras on the chests of the nominees at the awards show this year so we can get nauseated while they walk up to the podium to collect their prize.
That would be the true test.

Nobody wants to risk being injured during a corporate circle jerk, especially when you have teammates on different sides. |

Gotta have a cameraman on skates following them up the steps.. That would achieve your goal as well.

This is another gimmick that needs to go. I had no reason to root for either side. They need to go back to conferences.

yes by all means lets go out and injure ourselves for a meaningless game... . i enjoyed it for the skill, not the defensive prowess. - PhillaBully
I don't need to see the guys hammer each other but actually trying to play defense would be nice. they literally would allow people to just walk in on the goalies. I can see why Lundqvist wanted no part of it. the goalies are the only players trying |

I watched bits and pieces of the game and the skills competition. It was pretty much as expected. They should have given everyone more beer, like they did for the draft. |

Did you watch the live feed? It wasn't just the end; it was the whole show.
I will give it to Philly, they were very consistent. - nbartley9
From what I read, the entire WWF fanbase was upset and basically broke their Twitter with complaints. |

That logo in the middle of the screen wasn't as big or as obnoxious as it could have been. Hope they enlarge it soon.

I watched a couple minutes, saw the score and the way the "defense" was playing, and decided since there was no hockey on I'd find something else to watch. |
