In the future he could be good? He stinks now. We've set ourselves up to have a young team with oodles of cap space. Why would you want to take on this stiff?

Adding his 8 goals to what we are on pace for we finish with 163 goals...Yeah that's not going to improve us at all. Especially with Stafford and Stewart getting moved there goes 14 goals out the door. I'm not worried

Look at, I couldn't be more for this whole rebuild and youth movement - I love it like I love Mandy Moore. But you offer me a double cup winner, an Olympic gold medal winner and a former captain and i'll take him. He adds leadership and experience, try and argue that, go for it.

No Thanks , don't want him this year . I do not want to risk our losing ways . What if he has the effect on us that Roy has had on Edmonton . Unless you want to claim him and sit him in the press box for the rest of the season.

I think people are confusing wanting no part of Richards with wanting to field a team of 20 year olds. You can find quality veterans anywhere. Hell, I'd bring back Steve Ott for a mill if I just wanted a good character guy. No reason to take the chance that he is exactly what he appears to be now (almost out of the league with a large cap hit for many years)

With Stew and Staff most likely on the move adding Richards wouldn’t hurt our tanking hopes imo. Also being back in a primary leadership role COULD help. Biggest issue is what will happen in 4 years. Could just buy him out? Pegmula?
