But why in the heck would you bring in his outlandish contract that not only upsets the balance of your team's production:salary "scale", but may also actually spark you enough to miss out on McEichel?



McDavid & Eichel with both be much better investments than M. Richards as we forge onto 2020.

For an owner like this, the money isn't the issue. The Cap hit is. I'm still of the opinion that any contract longer than three years is a bad one for this team at this stage.

Also, the Sabres will most likely end up having to buy him out down the road.

It is but it will give Buffalo A "top 2" center.

Buffalo has a lot moving at the deadline. They need competent players. And Richards is basically "free"
