I'm in NYC right now. Came down for a concert (which got cancelled) & to rock out with some friends...

My Buddy was in NYC with Marilyn Manson . They had to load out without doing a show and got out of NYC. They rescheduled the show .

That's why I don't ever see Myers as a "shutdown" defender...
He could've knocked that guy on his ass
Instead, he continues to back in, letting him shoot, and then engages no one in the area of the rebound...
And then boom, goal scored
I'm not trying to hate on him, he's been much better over the past year, but he's not a top pair defender...
He's been better though, so I'm still hopeful... But I do think he's "defensively" a 2nd pair guy

I'd rather have Kaleta on this team then Stafford.

Ya, it ended up missing most of NYC, but since hurricane sandy they correctly take extra precautions

He's a top pairing defensemen, there isn't really even a debate about it anymore

Maybe. But than the organization needs to define to him what they want him to be. And in my opinion, that would be more offensively focused.

It seems that they are trying to get him to become more of a defensive player because of his size, but it is OK to let him do what he does best and find someone else to be that shut down guy.
