They want Psyk here, just for the record. - SABRES 89
I know. Nolan has been very vocal about it. It's mostly a numbers game as far as I've heard. There just isn't the roster space, but my theory is if they really wanted him here, they'd figure out a way to make it work. |

Honestly, Pysyk is exactly the type of guy he should be paired with, but I don't think they'd do that because they're both a RH shot. But he's got a great outlet pass and is more than willing and capable of staying back and letting Myers do his thing. - HonkFortheGoose
I think that Pysyk would be perfect as well.
You know more than I do, do defensemen ever play on their opposite side regardless of what handed they are like some forwards play on their off wing? I don't see what the big deal is. |

I doubt he even says that much. Like someone else said, he's gonna walk up to the podium, point at McDavid and say "You" and walk away. |

They can. Usually it's because there are too many lefty's. Righty's seem to be a bit more rare on the blueline. At one point about 2 years ago, Myers was the only RH guy we had on the roster. I don't think it's a huge hinderance, but it can make a difference when they set up in the offensive zone and on the PP. |

yea sure...sometimes teams have an abundance of DMen who are dominant to one side....i believe one of the nights we played Detroit all 6 of their Dmen were right handed shots, or left...either way they were all the same |

Agreed that the PP is the only time that it matters. |

He's been excellent tonight. Did you not see the shift before where he took it off two guys sticks ? Once on Brodie coming around the net and then broke up the pass in the slot.
He's a top pairing defensemen, there isn't really even a debate about it anymore - sbroads24
I did not
I'm out at a bar in NYC getting rowdy... Bribed the bartender to get this on, haha
I did say Myers has been better...
Did u miss that?
But "shutdown" defensemen aren't lackadaisical like he was in that 2nd goal
And we all know defensemen are judged on the mistakes they make
IMO, he still makes too many
But like I also have said many times...
Myers on our 2nd pair should be a sign of a pretty darn good defense |

Knowing the Sabres luck, we will trade all the FA's and a couple others and then start to play better. |

DAMN 3rd periods!.......i really do't understand why this team falls apart in the 3rd every game like clock work......i know they aren't good, but the futility they show in the 3rd every game has to be due to something....conditioning, coaching....something

Hahaha... Awesome!
I love that Murray also has made mention that a lot of the "rebuild" was done here by Darcy
We'll see what talent ends up staying and what goes, but there's no doubt IMO that Darcy did a great job "selling"
Now we just need Murray to put it all together

I thought that might happen too, but Rochester's been pretty scary at times this year, and not in a good way. I think you may see a marginal improvement just because guys will be excited to be getting a chance and will be trying to make a lasting impression on Nolan/Murray for next year. |
