I am of the opinion rule #3 still works. If you can't have a civil discussion with certain posters, just ignore and move on. Life is to short than to let someone you don't know, will never know, nor have no interest in ever meeting get you all riled up. A quick glance at the username prior to reading and skip over it.

I really enjoy listening to Murray's interviews. You can tell he doesn't really want to do them, but he told Andrew and Kevin that he had as much time for them as they wanted.

He's about as straight of a shooter that I have heard.

He says that the other GMs know what he's asking for and the players he has available. He says he'll take anything for UFAs. Maybe he'll take a 5th rounder for Hodgson, as he said you can still hit on those picks.

His comments about rumors being manufactured are interesting as well. Makes it seem less likely, in my opinion, that Myers isn't at the forefront of discussions.

Just some of my takeaways.

I've been living by this since I started coming here. Once I learn that I do not like a particular stance of a poster, I'll pass over them. If it's something worth noting, someone will comment on it and quote their post. Then I can see what the worthwhile portion is or isn't.

Like I said the poster banter is the only real reason to be here for the most part. I have said several times, the posting set up on this site is top notch and if another site could duplicate it I'd happily start posting there.

I just wish the content equaled the forums.
