I could imagine a competitive 3rd line of Stewart-Girgensens-Foligno. It would epitomize the shutdown role, with offensive ability. Take heat off your top line and play them 15-16 minutes.

I think he has proven he can play against the tougher competition. He's trending upwards in my opinion. I think he can handle it, but with the ultimate goal is to have McDavid as your #1, wouldn't Reinhart be #2?

He has the smarts to do it, but I haven't seen his size/speed. I don't think he fits the 3C mold.

agreed...thats a NIce big winger....if he rounds a complete game he could become an excellent power fwd...but he's only 20, still developing, and @ reasonable cost for 2 more years....why would they move him....

I don't see any reason why he couldn't? and if we get McDavid that's one hell of a 1,2 punch. .....but if they get Eichel he may be better suited to play wing initially...therefor Reinhart becomes # 1 and Girgensons is #2

i could see Stewart and $$$ for Wilson maybe, but that's at most a maybe.....honestly we will probably be bringing in ahl fringe guys and overpaid garbage that wont be here next year (see Rusty Klesla)...crap we can afford that other teams want to dump...who inturn will be dumped buy us over the summer
