It's a 30 dollar shoe from China my guess is the entire thing is plastic and if leather then it's probably dog skin or something. They're pretty (frank)ed up over there.

Update: The leather may, in fact, be dog skin, but the soles are rubber and there is a surprising amount of cushioning foam. They are quite comfy.
