Well I was suggesting an old laptop as a cheap zero dollar option.

You can buy Android boxes or you can take an old laptop and install Linux on it too and you don't have to worry about slow startups or auto restarts

Buffering is an internet problem, not hardware. Can be either due to your internet sucking (in which case there'd be no difference between Netflix or Kodi streaming_ or it could be the uploader / server side -- Kodi offers up a list of like 50+ streaming sources. You should never have an issue.

I have a hard time re-watching shows like that. I'll re-watch a classic sitcom or movie but to go through an entire series when I already know the ending just seems like too much work

Samesies. I never re-watch things with the exception to a few select movies.

This doesn't count with kids shows/movies. Thomas the tank engine is on a constant loop

Its the same thing as XBMC, just a new name.

And it's been around for 10 years already

The addons that let you stream everything for free are not issued with the Kodi software. Kodi comes with lots of legitimate streaming content and addons.

If you want to use Exodus & SALTS addons there is some customization and configuration required (easy enough though)

Also, you're the hipster idiot

Hence why you watch movies no one has ever heard of and praise it like its Peter Jackson's golden turd
