Yeah. It's kinda like the Flyers thing but in reverse a bit. Flyers have a poop ton of top defensemen coming through, but will the forwards like Giroux, Voracek and Simmonds still be good enough to lead the team when they're ready? Konecny looks like he can be a top line guy in time, but they have very little potential top 6 depth in their system. It's also hard to find those types in FA or the middle-late part of the draft.

I go in every once in a while. Leafs fans are on cloud 9, so I felt I needed to bring them down. I'm very much about equilibrium.

It seems like you just have to get lucky with some later picks I guess. It'd be weird if the leafs and flyers both ended up being good teams in a few years. I want revenge for that last playoff series.
