Understandably so. How are you even expected to focus at work? You don't even sleep the first few months forget the fact your trying to keep a 6lbs helpless human alive.

i honestly don't know how people without family support do it. or afford. at some point it probably becomes more cost-effective for one of the parents to stay home with the kids with the prices of daycare. for most people.

just seems like the "Women should have 10 kids and stay home and raise them" crowd are the same peeps who are like "oh you think i'm paying extra tax so you can stay home and raise your kids?"

Nurps was 6lbs 13oz. Exact same as me when I was born. She's in the 90% percentile for height and 75% for weight now where I am at the 50% for height and 350% for weight.

Absolutely. With a nice bonus of seeing your kids too. I'd kill to be a stay at home dad.

I like working and my craft to be sure but I really like hanging out with Squirrel.

yeah that a pretty average size. Both of my nephews were almost 10 lbs each and now Nurps is taller and heavier than her male cousin who is 3 months older than her.
