No. I'm saying when you back out it's easier for people to know when you're pulling out.

You don't see how driving PAST a spot and then trying to back into it could cause confusion for the people behind you?

At fracking well pads, it is required that trucks be backed into parking spaces so in the event of an emergency they can exit the site faster.

Backing out of there is extremely dangerous
whereas backing in is not

Yes they are in the realm of paralell parking - not when you're just trying to make a 2 second stop at Wawa or something

No, they aren't.

You ever notice how big of a pain in the ass people parallel parking can be? And that's when everybody is aware of the possibility.

In a parking lot, if you drive past the spot, I'm going to assume you decided you couldn't fit and I'm pulling in. If you start backing up in the road, you're a hazard.

Now, backing out of a spot, people see your reverse lights on, so they can stop and wait for you to back out, opening up a spot for them to pull in.

Courteous. Simple. Everybody knows how this works and everybody follows it. Don't be an ass just to make yourself feel like you're doing something more efficient or safer for yourself.
