the new work isn't as entertainting for you guys as the old work so when i type about it i'm always like "this isn't good content, john" so i'm glad this got a couple pages of mileage and the picture thing really made it.

it's an addition built onto the original building. then there's an addition built onto that. so they ended up with all kinds of weird stuff. there's a door you have to open to get to a door for that third addition. just like a little weird alcove-type situation but between two rooms.

also, i find a new data port every day. today i found one cut into the trim at the side of my old desk. you can't even get your finger between the desk and the trim. it's completely unusable.
