Jones is far from a prospect..he has put up good numbers...plays PP and PK. Hes a beast for 19. Hes a franchise cornerstone. Not saying phil isnt amongst top 5 wingers in the game, but id take jones straight uo for kessel in a heartbeat. Cant build around wingers IMO.

I would probably do that trade too, only cause i dont like Kessel and think he is bad news for any team. But a proven top scorer is worth more than a work in progress, even if he does have huge potential. Its the way it has always been. If we didnt have to take back any salary, that would be a steal for the leafs.
