its a shame because there were some decent stretches where downie actually showed some legitimate hockey chops. guy will probably have 16 or 17 goals this year. awesome for a million bucks.

but lately, he essentially doesnt even give a (frank) where the puck is. he has fallen into the basically not even entitled to be given a stick for his shift category. he just goes out looking to start something. its so tiring.

Gotta wonder if his Teammates, Coaches and Management are okay with it. Penguins pick up a Maxim Lapierre for example, plus they keep putting Downie into the line up. In terms of offense, he's having a better season then last year.
