it's not a good fit for him
Put him on the bolts or pens and he is a 50 point player IMO |

So you think a GOALTENDER would get the sabres out the league basement? - Flynox
Your avatar is missing a Sabres emblem.
Hint: its the over-detailed, piped up POS they are passing off as the original logo currently.
My god it is hideous. So are the uniforms. Puke yellow and navy. They are the exact equivalent of the Bills' 2000's uniforms. Too dark, too detailed and too cluttered. We need to pull a NYI and just sharpen up/modernize our original iniforms. Our winter classic uni with a dark set plz. |

Serious offer on the table for Myers, this is no joke. - TWGsabres

Will follow this situation closely but for now all I know for sure is that #RedWings and #Sabres are taking again..in a major way.
Hockeyy Insiderr @HockeyyInsiderr 5h5 hours ago
Per #RedWings source Detroit could be willing to add a piece #Sabres REALLY like. But it would have to be a Myers+young forward package.
So, either TWGsabres reads twitter, saw this and posted this as his own. Hockeyy Insiderr reads hockeybuzz and stole it from TWG or this is legit and sources are leaking. HockeyInsiderr and TWG posted their info very close in time. |

So Mantha or Larkin is involved? Id throw Gringo and Myers ppossibly. Never know what could happen. Plus there is that whole conversation about Anaheim. I don't know the pieces that would make it worth the Sabres while. |

Who is their best prospect? Pulkkinen? Mantha? Nyquist and Tatar are the 2nd and 4th leading scorers on the big club already. |

the coach of the hardest working team in the nhl must be bad at conditioning. This team consistently sucks ass in the third period - homiedclown
Kaleta and Ellis both 4:30 TOI. Next lowest forward is MiTchell w 14:00+
In that game? Last nights turdfest? why play only 10 forwards? No news of injury. 3 forwards had 20:00+ TOI. What is he doing? WTF is he doing?
I'm ready for the next Benchboss
PS. Not a Kaleta or Ellis fan. |

On the blue lines, Benoit for 7:00, everyone else over 15:00. Myers 27:00!
Get me somebody who is gonna play the whole team No wonder they fall apart in the 3d - they're exhausted. We're playing with 19 players, not 22. I'm losing it! |

Linus Ullmark stops 32/33 shots but MODO falls again 1-0 to Orebro HK. Victor Olofsson finished -1. - Herzeleid

His save% is about the same as last year so I am not reading too much into his GAA.
Rochester has been a mess this season, esp on the road and pk. - homiedclown
Disagree
He was kinda crappy at the start of last season, but finished so hot...
I didn't necessarily expect all that exactly
But to not continue to move in the right direction doesn't invoke much confidence in me for what he can do on the future

This year was obvious tank. Next year you rid yourself of Stewart, Staff, Kaleta, Mitchell, Mezaros and Benoit.
You Bring in Reinhart, McEichel, Grigorenko, McCabe and Pysyk.
Trade for 2 other vets with the late first round picks you have. and get a real coach
Then whatever happens, happens. - ImThatGuy
And I am not trying to start shlt here mind you.
But do you even realize what you start typing and then finish typing?
And yet you blame the coach for this?
Scott Bowman would do no better with this roster.
Like I said I am not "starting anything".
It's highly unfair to blame Nolan with this roster for anything and I will continue say this time and time again.
But hey, it's just my opinion. |

Nolan would have to coach the 80s Edmonton Oilers and lose for you to think he should be fired. |

Untrue.
All the man has done is win everywhere he has gone.
I can pull up his resume as I have before but I am sure everyone here knows it by now.
His past tells me he can win.
His past does not tell me he can't.
Some try to minimize his past success pointing to singular players as the reason his teams have had success. He had teams as a whole with talent unlike this roster and those players loved playing for him and would run through a wall for him.
Last I checked, hockey is a team game which is painfully evident and being displayed for all its shock value this season.
Let me begin this statement by asserting that poets absorb everything.
I listen when his former players speak of Nolan.
And when they speak of him, it has always been in the highest regard as a coach first and foremost and also as a human being.
Not to belittle your opinion nor others of Nolan at all mind you, but I will believe just a little bit more of what type of coach he is from men that have actually played the game at the NHL level.
Again, Scott Bowman could not win this roster.
I mean seriously, look at it. It's quite comical.
But hey Pierce, its your opinion and that's okay with me. |
