Canucks basically got the same player, except this one's 4 years older and has ~200 games of NA pro hockey experience.

Apparently Hawks have the opposite problem Canucks have - they got too many RHD in the system and need an LHD prospect with offensive upside. As others have said, looks like a good hockey trade

I was watching an interview with the hawks head of player development from last year and he said Clendening is a natural power play quarterback. That'd be nice to have for a change if he can translate that into the nhl.
