I wanna see Matthias in the middle of the ice. If he can drive to the front of the net from the middle, it will create more chances for rebounds and scramble plays that the wingers can finish. Also, with that second line you load up on purely offensive players. I like that every guy on that line has the ability to get the puck into the soft areas of the ice. Evidently exactly where they all like to play.

I also think its time we let Burrows and Higgins go.

If there is any modicum of truth to these Bartowski rumours, I'd rather we send a pending UFA their way instead of a RFA in Kassian. Why not just sign him in the offseason if you're interested? Makes no sense in terms of a asset management standpoint.

Don't know about that. Scooby might veto the deal.

Almost all the player you expect to score well, do. Toews/crosby etc and the players who you expect are garbage reflect that as well Sestito/Burrish, but there are definitely some outliers that don't fit. It's not perfect but interesting none the less.

Just more reason to hate GMMG forever.

I don't disagree with what the author is saying, should of gotten more for Schneider but he also says "[Horvat is] often a healthy scratch", which isn't true at all. I also think it's pure rumor about what the nucks were offered, this guy claims it was the 7th overall and klefbom, which I doubt.

I certainly wouldn't want the Oilers doing well with Schneider, so I can understand why Gillis would be adverse to trading with them.
