Think JB was wanting more offense from the D
- Nighthawk

They provide tons of offense.

I mean how many times have canuck D-men scored into their own net.

Spent the day on the Harris, 3 for 5, one of the best days of my life - one I'll never forget.
- LeftCoaster

Is the Harris on the way to Port Renfrew? If so, I knew someone who worked a gold claim there. Also, people were raging 15-20 years ago about Gary Cooper featuring it on his show and it getting over fished. Good to hear it's fishing well now...

Happy to hear you had a memorable day. I live for those days on rivers.

I seen Clendening play one game this year . I was thinking too bad Canucks didn't have a prospect like him.he has a good shot.

There's a reason for that...

Clendening is great in the offensive zone. However, he's a dumpster fire in his own end.

He's got some quality talent, and might be fine as long as he's paired with a partner who is very responsible in his own end.

So what's the word on Forsling?

- EKolb13

Who knows, he's a skinny 18 year old kid with a great shot and offensive instincts - time will tell.

Interesting article that Jeff Paterson just posted regarding Clendening. May already be quite familiar with Stanton.

I'm fishing the Zymotez (copper) in the morning. They are having a legendary winter fishery I'm hearing. Lakelse and kalum are on the list too...maybe main Skeena as well. If I get any of the 25-30 pound steelhead that are not too uncommon here, I'll post up a pic. People told me I'm crazy fornot bringing a trout rod. The cutties are huge around here... and nobody fishes them... considered a nuisance...

This trade probably is better for us considering the drop off in age and readiness after Corrado. Sell high on Forsling for a possible NHL ready prospect.

I like the way Benning is thinking.

Agreed. Very much a hockey trade. Hopefully this philosophy carries all the way through the TDL.

I love everything I heard about Clendenning except hes aparently has a pretty shotty Defensive game. Something our coaches really need to look at.

But this team has trouble scoring and from what I read this guy could be a PPQB. Im excited to see what he brings to the table.

Do we know if the plan is for him to go to the A or should we expect to see him play tommorow night in Vancity?

Cant imagine a better situation to introduce him to our team than against a team thats lost 13 in a row. Perfect oppurtunity to get him in there.

No link...I was just looking for the thread where it was discussed.

Mid January the "rumor" of the Hawks looking for size and toughness at forward was being tossed around.

Obviously, nothing too it so far.
