*Kings with ties to Philly in terms of trading partners and personnel.
*Red Wings love vets and willing to part with first round picks.
*I would love Kimmo Timonen to return to Nashville. Started his career there. Knows Laviolette's system. They're actually good now.
*Ducks strike me as a team looking to win now.

Kings, Ducks and Nashville have tons of cap space to make the moves .Red wings have just enough as well. Kimmo Timonen, if he can play to a level we are accustomed to, can help any of them.

You'd think lava would bang the table for kimmo if they feel they need the help. Not sure what their blue line situation is. It's probably really good

Timonen is a clear upgrade over Ryan Ellis and Anton Volchenkov. Looking at Nashville's D, I'm a little surprised at what they're doing under Laviolette's system and the average names. Their strength on the backend really must be Shea Weber, Seth Jones and Roman Josi.

Ellis and Ekholm are both pretty good players - PhillySportsGuy
I never said they weren't.
Being from Windsor I've had a pretty good look at Ryan Ellis, Taylor Hall, Cam Fowler, Adam Henrique, Steve Downie, Zack Kassian, Eric Wellwood and a few others before entering the NHL.
Is Ryan a 40 point defenseman who's seasoned in all three areas of the ice? I'm just hoping Timonen doesn't turn into Peter Forsberg, Mats Sundins or Martin Brodeur.
That's how the clubs are in Chicago. I hate it. Ya got every roid boy and meathead in the county their, and then 1000 skanky girls, getting absolutely LIT, and each drink you buy said females, your chances go up 25% of getting laid. do the math.... My cousin lives in the city, she parties a lot ( she is one of the chicks I mentioned lol) but anyways, her friends and her were out partying, her bf went with that night, bumped elbows with a dude, spilled the guys drink, guy beat the living piss outta him. He was all geeked on cocaine and got arrested for possession and battery. Her bf though was hospitalized for a few days I believe. Sad that people actually act that way. eff going to clubs. I'll take a run down, little local bar 7 days a week. Even though most of the people in those bars are 2-3x my age and all are reeeeaallly scary lookin old dudes - benjichronic
thats exactly how i am. ill take a little local bar. problem is, there is 0 chance of getting laid in those locations haha

I just think when timonen gets back to playing...if he does... He's going to be bad and for awhile. Lately he usually starts his seasons real slow. Last year year he looked like a dead horse through Xmas I think it was. I hope he comes back looking great, but I know odds are theres going to be real rust to his game. With the rust he may get us a mid round pick, so if he's willing to be traded I hope he comes back
