Freidman is suggesting he could be a buyout?
Any idea who Benning has in mind for the next trade? |

Interesting to see how Forsling turns out? Is he Karlsson or Rodin like.
I seen Clendening play he looks ok . Better shot than Stanton |

Kassian and Lack for MDC and some warm body
I think it would make sense for both teams. Canucks need a top 6 prospect and the isles need a big forward and goalie depth.
I doubt Benning does that deal though.... he wants more help now |

One is just more ready than the other but both have definite holes in their game, to me, Benning is calculated and knows what he's doing. |

Yeah he filled a void with out new top prospect D . Instead of 4 years out it could be slot him in now or next year. |

Basically what we got was a player with offensive skills and defensive issues who is four years older and plays on a side we are weak on for a player with offensive skills and defensive issues who plays on a side we are strong on and may never even produce at the AHL level |

Yeah I don't see it.
I do see something like Kassian Higgins for Sharp.
Gives Chi some cap relief . We get an experienced (old) vet who knows how to score and is usually good in the playoffs. It gives Bonino a sniper.
Sharp has two more years at 5.9 and is just as reliable as ROR.
I know he is old , no need to bark t me . I can see him being available |

I think you are right in that this is the only type of deal we could get for a package like that, and it's definitely a player who could be available
Edit: Personally though, I think I would prefer draft picks for any of our TDL moves |
