Simmonds ended up getting stuck on the ice with the 2nd unit so Umberger never came out. That may have temporarily altered the lines. Umberger on the bottom line is a no-no in Chief World

FWIW, I think the Leafs are actually a more difficult team to play against now than they were before.

The same thing happened to the Flyers when they first brought in Chief last year. They tightened up defensively but couldn't score. The scoring eventually came. Would be great to see the Leafs plummet in the standings only to have them rally at the end and pick 10th.

He's better then Andrew MacDonald. Franson is playing against Giroux and Voracek tonight and Franson actually registers points. I wouldn't call him a legit number one, he isn't but he might be a good number 2.
