Year mid year 78-79 had the square lights which I'm not fond of. The round ones look more eye appealing IMO.

Picked up 5 OPC Chris Chelios rookie's about 8 years ago for 25 bucks. They're worth 25 a piece now.

I find buying from the same seller helps too as most do like $4 shiiping for as many items as you want. Or .20 per additional card.

I've started to go through what I currently own via $31 a month internet subscription to Beckett(you can store what you own on their site and print it out). I'm up to $20,000 and 95% is from when I was a kid. Maybe I spent 1-2k on it. Now I know I won't get that for it as it's only worth what one wants to pay.

Still gotta be cautious.

Yeah unless it was signed in front of you I wouldn't spend too much on anything. I mean a buck or two and then get it authenticated is low risk high reward. I'd never pay a premium unless I knew 100% it was real.
