I think adding a guy like Sharp and maybe or maybe not keeping Stewart will make a difference, we need NHL players for next year and we have the picks and cash to make that happen. I still like Mike Richards and think he can make a difference as well. - SABRES 89
Sharp is now on pace for 58 points. |

I remember watching him playing dirty that entire series (especially targeting Vanek)...this hit was just the coup de grace |

I think they'll win the "lottery" though - Sabresfan-365
Who knows, if so I'll be happy with Eichel. This will have been a worthy lost year, unlike last year but I won't get into that |

Because I'm bored and have nothing better to do, I was thinking about what TM would realistically get for are UFA's and what he could turn that into. I know we have to many picks already, so he won't keep them, but their may be teams out there who are looking to restock the farm and be willing to move back in this deep draft to pick up a few extra 2nds.
We have:
Our 1st (untouchable) Our 2nd (probably 31)
NYI 1st (mid twenties) NYI 2nd
Stl 1st (mid twenties)
What I think we can realistically get:
Stewart-2nd, and a 3rd (the 3rd only because of his play as of late)
Stafford-2nd
Enroth-2nd
Niuvirth-(a 2nd if we're lucky. More than likely a 3rd unless packaged)
Mitchel-3rd
Mez-3rd
Ben-3rd
Kaleta, Weber- laughed at
That will give us 3 first, 5 seconds, and 5 thirds.
My question is what do you guys think 5 seconds and 5 thirds can move the Stl. and NYI 1st up to, and who would you like to be there at the pick? |

Arizona is actually the only team other than Buffalo I could stomach watching McDavid go to. |

If Perron went for a 1st and a player, Stafford and Stewart will get that as well. Might be a 2016 1st. |

My guess is it's one of those that lets him list 8 teams he wouldn't go to. If i had to guess, I'd say Buffalo is on that list. |

11 goals in 25 games is tearing it up in his 4th junior season that projects to about 35 goals or so..... but I won't get into this debate again |

Gorges, Regehr, Sharp
One of these things is not like the other.
Besides, it took a fly in from Pegula to convince a well past his prime regehr to come to buffalo and keep in mind we were a playoff team at the time. |

I do understand. I have watched both play a dozen times
Eichel will be great, McDavid is just better - sbroads24
Yet Eichel is playing against guys that are 21 -24 in a environment that makes you more ready for the NHL
and he is making History as a "18 year old freshman"
if you watch collage hockey then you should know how hard it is for a freshman to be leading the NCAA in Points . |
