Shaw got a reputation based upon a hit that never even happened. Remember the flop Smith took in 2012? Shaw never even touched him and did everything he could to avoid the hit.

Keith deserved what he got against Sedin. The suspension he got for the Carter incident was pure BS.

Very true - but the NHL in their idiocy specifically used the Sedin hit to call Keith a repeat offender. And people forget that Sedin ran Keith at the other end of the ice - Keith's hit was in retaliation - and it was the right thing to do. Vancouver for years made it a point to take liberties when hitting Keith - he got fed up with it and responded.
