Sounds like the last 10 minutes of the Phantoms game last night got out of hand. Anyone know I'd there are highlights of the nonsense? |

[quote=Tomahawk]MDZ has been nothing short of awesome.
Hopefully his minutes won't be cut as 8 and 5 make their way back into the lineup
When that happens, I'd rather sit 26 and 47. IMO 22 and 15 are playing much better right now. |

I have always given him credit for working hard, and always will. Not everyone does.
He is also a plus skater, too. And he hits, hits hard.
But he isn't an NHL player for a playoff team. That doesn't mean he should hang up the skates. It means the Flyers need to upgrade his roster slot - AllInForFlyers

Luke had a pretty good game last night, and against the yotes too.
Most of team played well against the Jets.
Fat Schenn seems to be on a good streak right now |

Just so you understand there is minimal tolerance of stupidity in the ECHL (when the undersized referees can see over the players instead of looking upward- they all look 5'5") ....a certain Andrew Conboy of the Elmira Jackals is sitting out his second long suspension of the year- 20 games, he will probably be at least half season in suspension this year.
I think there is more stuff going on in the AHL....
Thats the place for Zac along with Mr Stortini, and Derek Mathers....

Mdz had been great recently. Berube needs to make sure he continues to play big minutes. If he doesn't he's mad |

And its not just the production.
He's making smart plays in the D zone, winning one, on one battles.

A little more development time is best, and hopefully he saw and they told him what he needs to work on with some details/guidance
In my nightmares, the conversation goes, "We're sending you down. Work hard and you'll make it back."
Player: "What should I work on?"
"Oh, you know. Be responsible. Just continue to work hard." - AllInForFlyers
I was really surprised by the kid's hockey sense. He always seemed to be in the right spot and made smart plays with the puck. I didn't know a ton about him, outside of him having a really good overager season in the Q, but man, he's a really solid prospect.

I'm reluctant to move Coburn.
If I can move maybe Grossmann for a #2, yeah, as he & Luke are almost the same type of player.
Coburn was great with Kimmo, his problem is similar to AMac, whereas they need a partner they can play comfortably with.
Confidence, & chemistry goes a long way, we've seen it with the forward lines, no different for the defensemen. |

Straka sent down this morning, guess Raffl is feeling better - Jsaquella
Nice showing by straka. Good speed, stayed positionally sound, showed a nose for the puck. Guy has a lot of tools that I think this team is looking for |

Agreed. He looked perfectly comfortable, showed good smarts and wheels. |

Buy the rest of my season tix at face value and I'll be cool with them tanking. Until then, I'd prefer to see them win when I go to games. |

The funny part is, he's never seen Lawson Crouse play a game, yet he knows he's going to be an absolute great player. |

Watched 3 of his games at the WJC, and have watched about 9 of his games with Kingston this season.
I think he'll be a very solid player, but I have doubts he'll be much more than a good player. He's skilled, but the lack of production is a concern. Probably will end up as a more well rounded JvR. |

Oliver Kylington could be around at #10-#12 which is likely where the Flyers will pick. He would be a great addition. Not sure why everyone is so in love with Crouse. |

Just saw this post -- yeah, JVR really did cheat a lot. Sad to see. I understand he's not Brendan Shanahan or Bill Guerin, but he could be a little tougher on the puck and going to the net
It's not always going to be odd-mans and breakaways - AllInForFlyers
Not going to go as far as to say I'm glad JvR's gone, but I definitely don't believe this team would be all that much better with him in the mix, either. The problems they have at ES, he doesn't really help with. |

Crouse is big, he likes to hit and he's a solid two way guy. He's attractive for teams looking for a big, skilled guy. I don't think I'd take him before Strome or Rantanen, but he's a good prospect, just the risk that the offense will not be as high as a team would want out of a top 5 pick in this draft |

Marner, Zacha, Barzal, I'm not saying Crouse won't be a good player, but I've seen him ranked as high as 4 or 5 and I just don't get it. |
