That's been true since Kelly retired except maybe one year with Bledsoe

Wasn't too long ago that the sabres looked like they were out of the mceichel race.

I wouldn't rule the yotes out just yet, especially since they look ready to sell off players.

A couple weeks ago I was worried about the Yotes & possibly the Devils once they started selling off parts.
This losing streak has pretty much cemented us in the bottom 2 unless something crazy happens.
As of now, our biggest worry is we finish 2nd, and a team below us wins the lottery & bumps us to pick 3

A couple weeks ago I was worried about the Yotes & possibly the Devils once they started selling off parts.
This losing streak has pretty much cemented us in the bottom 2 unless something crazy happens.

I think that's mostly BC teams are so close to the Cap, they need to wait as long as possible to fit anyone they acquire under it
Also, it's been reported that Murray's asking price is very high

My guess is Murray is waiting to get the best possible offer
