I won't have any time but thanks for the recommendations anyway. I'm working the rest of the week but i did see that game, a punk show, In n Out burger, Ameoba Music, Atomic Records, a great New Orleans deli/restaurant and some other crap. Its very nice here.

Local bands playing at this new place called The Lash, in Hollywood I think. Me and my friend traded our freebie Kings fleece blankets in exchange for the cover charge. Good deal cuz I didn't want to carry it around all night anyway.

I watch & hope the game is competitive & there's a few funny commercials

I think it's all about getting people who wouldn't normally watch, to tune in. Middle aged white rock dude (like me) is already watching no matter what.

I get your point, but Super Bowl Sunday has almost become a holiday of sorts. They're already tuning in, imo.

I thought Lenny Kravitz would have been a decent change of pace to KP. He barely broke a sweat with his 30 seconds of stage time.
