If we somehow get the ducks first we should just move our draft table out the stage for the end of the first round hahah 3 late (to last) 1st and then our 2nd

IMO, That is the last thing i would want for Myers. You could re-sign Neuiverth to an average deal and ice a better team in front of him, and he would be suitable.

For Me Myers needs to return a top line winger.

- ImThatGuy

Agreed.

Young goaltenders as so risky. In fact all goaltenders are risky if they are not established even some of the established ones are risky.

If Myers is to be dealt I need a top line scoring winger.

It would have to be a top 6 for it to happen, I think
- Slump Buster

It might be but it won't be for a pick only, they won't do that. A player, prospect and a pick is what they want.

Perhaps you missed the point of my post? Not sure SB.

I don't think Terry is in the habit of just throwing away money all the time especially the remaining 2 years on his coaches contract.

I could see one but not two.

Throwing away? No. Upgrading? Absofreakinglutely.

You think Stripes?

Whenever I have paid close attention to him, he normally knows what he talking about.

He's no hack.

But okay.

- BuffaloHardHat

He knows the game but he rubs people the wrong way which is why none of his "reports" on trades are close to hitting.

He doesn't get inside info is what I am saying

Right, but in that scenario the buyers are good teams that would draft at the bottom of the round. At what point would we *theoretically* accept only a pick coming back?

Exactly. Stop giving up 35 shots a game and start getting consistent pressure the other way and our goalies will look fine.
- rover16

you need a goalie that can save the pucks he sees.. outside of that it is all luck anyway. put a defense out there that can cut out the cycle, cover players properly and get the puck out of the zone and you will be fine

It is still throwing away money.

I don't think any successful business man is in the habit of just throwing money away.

I think Nolan will be here next year (and he should be) but that's just my opinion.

Maybe I need to start paying closer attention to him then.

Thanks.

I'd get rid of both goalies and keep Hackett and sign a Vet goalie, let them figure out who the number 1 is.

I am not sure what has happened to Enroth and I was never that excited about Neuvirth.

Did Enroth start wearing down mentally and physically?
That is possible especially with the chances that this team gives up on a nightly basis.

I'd like to see more of Hackett.
By the way does anyone know the starting netminder for tonights game?
I hope it is Hackett.

You're not going to get that kind of pick for Myers, we may get a pick but if it is in the 1st round it will be farther down and then you take the chance of getting a lesser player in the deal.

You Move Myers for Hanifin, and your top 3 is all under 20 years old. TO me that is asking too much for 3 young guys to do without any vet help.

He needs 7 more games or he turns into a pumpkin (UFA) at the end of the season.
